Review of the ACT Knowledge Fund (2006)

Howard Partners was commissioned to assess the extent to which the ACT Knowledge Fund has been an effective instrument in meeting the Government’s economic goals and to identify options for improved performance.

The Knowledge Fund has been an important and innovative initiative for promoting and sustaining knowledge based economic development. It has addressed both market and institutional failures that emerge in the transfer and translation of the outcomes of scientific discoveries and technological inventions into commercial application and use. The Review has been completed and submitted for consideration.
